The Golden Gala

Our Golden Gala was an event for all who attended or worked at Crockett. The gala was a Texas formal event for 18+ years old. Dinner, drinks, guest speakers, music from the last FIFTY years, dancing, a fun photo booth, visiting with friends, year-group pictures of friends and chance to leave a written note in memory of classmates who are no longer with us were a few of the activities. Plenty of memorabilia was available to view and there was an expansive auction of interesting items plus a raffle!

The PURPOSE of the event was to raise funds for the future of Crockett High School; to assist teachers by providing resources they would otherwise have to pay for out of their own pockets; to ensure COUGAR PRIDE is part of the future of South Austin, Texas. We hope to continue to raise funds for the cause.

Crockett’s Golden Gala took place at the Palmer Events Center on Saturday, April 13, 2019. Doors opened at 5 PM and the event went from 5-10 PM. Ticket holders enjoyed admission, a plated dinner, and non-alcoholic beverages, dancing, incredible Crockett alumni speakers, with alcoholic beverages available for separate purchase for adults.
